After putting Lemlist, Instantly and Smartlead through the same four criteria, the deciding factor isn't "use case" — it's your pricing constraint.

The agentic AI industry moves faster than any single news ticker can cover. In a typical week in 2026, 3-5 serious agents launch, another 10-15 ship updates that re-calibrate their fit for a particular workflow. Headline-skimming alone isn't enough — most launches don't survive a week of actual production use.
We filter here on three criteria. First: does the launch make an existing workflow cheaper or more reliable? That's the only question that matters to buyers. Press releases announcing the "first multi-agent framework" or "revolutionary autonomy" get ignored until actual benchmark data or production deployments surface.
Second: is pricing moving? Price increases and per-task pricing model shifts tell more about commercial reality than any headline. When a vendor moves from "freemium with generous limits" to "per-call" pricing, the signal is: the model is more expensive in production than they hoped.
Third: which integrations are new? Salesforce, Slack, GitHub, Notion — new native integrations are often the key lever that moves an agent from "interesting" to "deployable." If you run a stack of 5-7 core tools, watch the integration announcements more closely than the model-tier updates.
