Privacy policy

What we collect

We try to collect as little as possible. Specifically:

• Outbound clicks. When you press "Try free" or "Get [coupon]" on an agent card, we record the agent slug, a referrer tag (e.g. card), UTM parameters from the URL, country (from CDN headers), browser user-agent, and a truncated IP (/24 for IPv4, /48 for IPv6 — never the full address).
• Submissions. When you submit an agent via /submit, we store the information you typed plus a timestamp.
• Analytics, only if our deployment sets a NEXT_PUBLIC_PLAUSIBLE_DOMAIN — in which case page-view stats are recorded by Plausible (no cookies, no fingerprinting, no PII).

What we don't collect

• Cookies, beyond the strictly-necessary ones a CDN may set.
• Cross-site tracking pixels, ad-network identifiers, or third-party scripts beyond Plausible (privacy-friendly by design).
• Full IP addresses or device fingerprints.
• Account or profile data — we don't have logins.

Why we collect what we do

Click data tells us which agents are worth featuring and helps us reconcile affiliate commissions. Submissions form a queue for our editorial review. Aggregated analytics tell us which pages need work. None of it is sold or shared with anyone.

How long we keep it

Click logs are kept for 18 months, then aggregated to monthly totals (with no per-event data) and the originals deleted. Submissions are kept indefinitely so we can credit you if we feature your agent later.

Your rights

If you're in the EU/UK or California, you have the right to access, correct or delete data we hold about you. Email legal@aiagentrank.io from the email you used to submit (or include the submission timestamp), and we'll respond within 30 days.

Affiliate disclosure

We participate in affiliate programs for many of the agents we index. When you click an outbound link marked "Try free" or "Get [coupon]" and complete a signup, we may earn a commission. This never affects your price, and never affects whether or where an agent appears in our index.

Changes to this policy

If we materially change this policy, we'll update the "Last updated" date above. For major changes we'll add a banner to the homepage for at least 30 days.
